I started dabbling with beads when I became ill and had to take time off work. I started with making key rings, handing them out to friends and relatives, then thats when my obsession with beads started!
When I was browsing in a bookshop, (who doesn't love doing that!) I spotted an easy beading jewellery book, just in my pocket range so bought it.
As the summer went by, and couldn't get out very much, I would pop into my local bead shop and just buy everything I loved! Thats where it started becoming out of control!
More books for inspiration, more beads, more magazines, more and more beads!
It's now almost 4 years on now. I'm at home beading and threading away!
I still absolutely love it. I've tried other crafts too, but I can't stick to them long enough to learn more techniques!
I guess we all have something that we are destined to do, and I am just lucky that I have found something that I love and want to carry on with.
One day my dream will come true of owning my own bead and jewellery store. Just need to save those pennies instead of buying out everyone else's bead shop supplies!
