I make stained glass suncatchers, windows, panels and sculptures, modern abstract or traditional. I mostly use foil and solder technique although I also do leaded work.

With the abstract pieces, I let the glass and colours lead to the composition, I often add wire and glass beads and pendants.

I do my own designs for the more subjective pieces, usually inspired by nature and what I see, I also use magic lantern slides when I find interesting ones, and simply frame them. I love the way that light and glass enhance one another in a symbiosis of light and colour.

I also make mixed media art boxes and pictures using found objects, I particularly like objects found while beachcombing or anything I can recycle. I get much of my inspiration from the sea

I also make some jewellery, especially charm necklaces. using beads from old necklaces.

I have a compulsion to always be making and creating, I love it when my creations bring joy to others as they do to me
