After our first child was born in the summer of 2003, I needed to find suitable |
| footwear that was washable, affordable, hardwearing and yet soft on his feet. |
| After much searching around the usual shops, I decided to pick up |
|
my knitting needles and make some booties myself. The size are 0-3 months(upto 9cms) 3-6months(upto 10cms) and 6-9months(upto 11.5cms) |
| Everyone who has seen the booties I have made admires them, thinks |
| they are something different and have asked me to make them |
| for their own children or as gifts for someone else. This has |
| inspired me to create my store. |
| I have been knitting since a very young age and so all booties are produced to a very |
| high standard. I have more recently also started making cards which can be |
| included with the booties to make an extra special gift, or purchased |
|
separately for any special occasion. Please see my Handmade Cards website which can be found at www.juliesbooties.co.uk I have also extended my range to include novelty mittens and some dolls clothing. If there is something that you would like made but can't see it being displayed please contact me for further assistance, however you will need to allow me a few days in which it purchase the yarn and knit the item. The booties take a couple of evenings the dolls clothes a little longer. I will always inform you when I have sent it. All of the items are knitted for acryllic wool which is fully machine washable at 40 degreesand in a smoke free enviroment. Please note I do my upmost to match the yarns to the pictures given however, due to the nature of the product shades may vary slightly. Thanks for looking. |
