I specialise in Sterling Silver Jewellery which is etched or impressed using environmentally friendly etching techniques. Approximately 80% of the silver I use is recylcled by me (usually whilst donning a funky outfit incorporating dark goggles and oxy-acetalene torch!) My designs are either hand drawn or digitally created initially: I then go through a rather lengthy, complicated process of applying these images/designs onto the metal pieces. As such, each piece is unique, although designs may be similar, one piece will vary slightly from the next - this it the beauty of handmade work: each item of jewellery is a tiny work of art.
I also create large and small scale archival digital prints and highly detailed figurative pencil and ink drawings, some of which can be found for immediate purchase here: A larger selection of images can be found on my website at http://www.annamcdade.co.uk If you see something there that you cannot see here, please contact me via email to discuss availability/purchase. I am proud to have been commissioned on a number of occassions to create specialist items for very happy customers in the past: I love a challenge, so if you have something special in mind, please feel free to contact me.
