KNIT AS MANY DOUGHNUTS AS YOU LIKE WITH THIS EASY KNITTING PATTERN.
Use two (normal) needles and oddments of double knitting weight yarn and be as creative as you like to make these doughnuts that look good enough to eat.
You just need basic knitting skills, including knit, purl, increase and decrease.
I have adapted the pattern from an out of copyright vintage pattern. I have written very clear instructions, with images demonstrating each stage, and suggestions for alternative toppings.
The instructions are for a large doughnut (4 inches wide) or a smaller doughnut (3.5 inches wide).

You could give your knitted doughnuts as gifts, party favours, pin cushions or just keep them for yourself.
