I've booked a craft fair in Lichfield for the end of next month so I've been making a few accessories for my table. My craft fair box is actually looking pretty empty at the moment as I've not done one for some time, so I'm hoping to have some busy crafting nights over the next few weeks or my table will be looking rather bare!
___
If you're in the area I will be at the Guild Hall, Lichfield on the 29th May. -- I will add more details nearer the event.

Still stitching Alice?
Yes,
I'm still stitching my
Falling Alice piece and hope to reveal both my embroidery and the pattern very soon! I just had to put that piece on hold for a little while, as I?
ve spent the past few weeks stitching a variation of my
Little Red for a magazine tutorial, which is quite exciting!
Aren?t Flickr mosaics great?! I love searching through my Flickr groups and favourites to make them and I love being in them too (obviously!). And it wasn't till the other day that I realised if you search 'fd's Flickr Toys' and your 'user name' you can find mosaics that people have added you to!
Thanks to Kiirey for adding me to her 'Color Combo of the month' mosaic x

French Knot Fabric Button Tutorial ...
I originally put this tutorial together for the
Feeling Stitchy embroidered button swap -
___
Here?s a tutorial for using Prym cover buttons, which you might find useful if stitching French knots, or any other delicate stitches that you don?t fancy squashing in a button mould!
It took me a while to get the hang of this type of cover button, but the nice thing with these is that you can take the back off and reposition the fabric is needed.
___
If anyone has any tips they'd like to share for this type of cover button then please feel free to add a comment below.
